Yep, this is me going to Friends Only.

Leave a comment on this entry if you want to be added. You'll notice that any previous open entries aren't locked -- I'm not about to go back through my entire journal and lock them all. That's just stupid. If you *really* want to read through them all, what joy is yours.

Continuing on, I reserve the right not to friend you. The reasons I do this are wide and varied. One of them could even be the fact that you have some seriously HUGE posts that eat my Friends page. If I don't friend you, there's most likely a reason. I won't lie and say that it's nothing personal, because I do so many things on my LJ, but the truth is, I don't. Look at my profile page if you don't believe me. Sure, you can feel hurt that I have not deigned to friend you, but it's not like being on my Ultra Exclusive Friends list is the end of the world, y'know?

People already on my Friends list -- nothing's really going to change. Except possibly maybe hopefully posting more of my fic. The switch to Friends Only is because of the realization that there's people out there that I'd rather not have reading my stuff. The way LJ is set up, there's no way to get rid of them other than this option. It's sad I have to do this in the first place, but them's the breaks.

If there's anything else to add to this post, I'm sure I'll think of it later.

the only thing I've never figured out is the private thing. I mean why would I bother to put it on lj if I wanted it to be private? I mean I could just as well put it on Word on my computer or write it on a piece of paper. Why bother putting it on LJ? Any how if your doing friends only means more leaper fic yipee I'd jump for joy but at my weight and with my joints that's not in the realm of the possible.

No see leaper in my lj client there public then there is Friends only and then there is private. The way I think that works and maybe I'm wrong but I think private means only I can read it. Now I ask you why in the world would I want to go to the trouble of publishing it to lj and then making it private?!!

I guess maybe if I wanted to access something on a different computer but I can't really imagne say writing something and then pulling it up on my brother's computer, for instance.

And yeah, me like leaper fic especially Mike & Lennie Leaper fic

the reason you haven't received the Bronco hamster is he's hiding amongst the poodle toys. They've managed to keep him cleverly hidden from Daddy Bill and from Clark. Every once in a while he has the urge to sing "We are the Champions" (like when his Broncos score) and I fear Bill will find him and say I must stuff his poor little hamsterness into a fedex or UPS box and send him to the Leaper where I know he will be safe amongst his many friends, but so far so good, though periodically Kizzy does eye him with a playful look, which makes him tremble.

I feel so special for being included in the Super Secret Hamster Plushie Club. Just wanted to know if I could have a purple and white one?..;-) About that super long posting thing that clogs up your friend's list.....I'll try to keep them short, but no promises. It seems when I do find time to post, I got on a writing rampage! LOL

Oh, duh. Well, some people use LJ as a computer diary of sorts. Some of their private thoughts in a convenient place that doesn't take up room on their hard drive, is fairly reliable, and shouldn't be seeable by anyone else.

Personally, I don't have Private posts -- the most secure a post will be is Friends Only, but I could probably guess why somebody might make some posts Private...
