Yep, this is me going to Friends Only.

Leave a comment on this entry if you want to be added. You'll notice that any previous open entries aren't locked -- I'm not about to go back through my entire journal and lock them all. That's just stupid. If you *really* want to read through them all, what joy is yours.

Continuing on, I reserve the right not to friend you. The reasons I do this are wide and varied. One of them could even be the fact that you have some seriously HUGE posts that eat my Friends page. If I don't friend you, there's most likely a reason. I won't lie and say that it's nothing personal, because I do so many things on my LJ, but the truth is, I don't. Look at my profile page if you don't believe me. Sure, you can feel hurt that I have not deigned to friend you, but it's not like being on my Ultra Exclusive Friends list is the end of the world, y'know?

People already on my Friends list -- nothing's really going to change. Except possibly maybe hopefully posting more of my fic. The switch to Friends Only is because of the realization that there's people out there that I'd rather not have reading my stuff. The way LJ is set up, there's no way to get rid of them other than this option. It's sad I have to do this in the first place, but them's the breaks.

If there's anything else to add to this post, I'm sure I'll think of it later.

the only thing I've never figured out is the private thing. I mean why would I bother to put it on lj if I wanted it to be private? I mean I could just as well put it on Word on my computer or write it on a piece of paper. Why bother putting it on LJ? Any how if your doing friends only means more leaper fic yipee I'd jump for joy but at my weight and with my joints that's not in the realm of the possible.
